In Christian circles we often talk about wolves in sheep's clothing- a real warning Scripture gives us (Matthew 7:15). But, how often do we emphasize the other side of that picture? As believers, we are called to put on Christ (Romans 13:14). We are His sheep and His is the Lion of Judah (Revelation 5:5). So as His sheep, we "put on" the Lion- imitating Him, imperfectly, yes, but faithfully, because this is at we are called to (1 Corinthians 11:1) The name Reclaim & Reform grew out of something we said often whenever we saw culture take what God made good and twist - we'd say, "We need to take it back for Christ." That's where Reclaim came from. And, Reform? As a Reformed Christian, I hold to the conviction that we are always reforming- always being shaped more into the likeness of Christ (Romans 12:2 ), always being refined until He returns (Philippians 1:6) This is the heart behind the name. This is the heart behind the logo. This the heart behind the mission.
